Our inaugural summer social is dedicated to raising awareness for BIPOC Mental Health Month [also known as Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Month], a vital initiative established in 2008 that seeks to empower and support minority communities facing mental health challenges. Our commemoration of this month is inspired by the profound wisdom of James Baldwin: "Love takes off the masks that we fear we cannot live without, and know we cannot live within."
